The Shocker Store utilizes an online textbook adoption system, Verba Collect, where faculty members or select department administrators receive a customized email with a link that logs them into a walk-through process without any need for username or password. This is a simplified experience including pre-populated course assignments, easy-to-adopt past adoptions, and smart book search. Once you click into Collect there are four short videos you can view to show you how to get started, add materials, and submit your book orders.
Collect also gives you the option of providing your course materials digitally through the WSU Digital Course Materials Program, Access Now. Simply select that option in the section marked "Item Questions."
- Please be aware that digital course materials are billed automatically to students upon enrollment in your course. In the event that you choose not to use digital course materials please let the Shocker Store know immediately so we may remove the Access Now charges from the student billing accounts.
- Once the link has been added to your Blackboard for the digital course material(s), PLEASE DO NOT REMOVE THE LINK!!! If you are copying a course from a previous semester to the current semester, do not reuse the same link as they are only valid for the term they are used in.
Textbook adoptions can also be submitted using a variety of other methods such as email, fax, the Textbook Adoption Worksheet pdf (link below), or even submitting your information in person at the store. The important goal is that we get your information so that we can provide accurate and timely information to our students.
