Wichita State University has always taken pride in celebrating firsts. We, the F1rst-Generation Coordinating Council (FGCC), support our First-Gen students. Those students make up almost half of the Wichita State student body on our campus. The “F1RST GEN SHOCKERS” t-shirts are placed in the Shocker Store for both students, parents, faculty and staff who are celebrating those who are the first in their family to attend college with the intention of graduating with a 4-year degree. The proceeds from the sale of these t-shirts, will be used to fund scholarships for first-generation college students here at Wichita State University. #CelebrateFirstGen
